noun, a wedding
Spent my new year’s eve day and night in a wonderful way: celebrating the nuptials of Miss Ashley Sauls and Mr. Austin Myers. Gotta say that I’ve never had a New Year’s Eve so memorable. After the wedding, where Ash looked like a princess, we traveled to the reception and literally danced in the new year. I haven’t dance like that since…well, it’s been so long, I can’t remember. In fact, the bridesmaids did a little get-the-party-started dance, and I was a bridesmaid. Yes, I did a choreographed dance to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel.” Anyway, it’s good to know that this almost 40 chickadee can still feel and act like a 22-year-old. I can’t say that my dancing looked like a talented 22-year-old dancer but at least I didn’t look like a 30-something woman who forgot how to have fun.
In fact, I was having so much fun that I failed to make any new year’s resolutions. Oh well, I guess I’ll just stick with “move to the jungle in 2011.” I think that’s good enough;)
Happy New Year, my friends! It’s gonna be a dandy.
