In this exact moment, I’d be willing to bet money that each of us could stop and quote almost word for word a line from one of our favorite movies. Maybe it was a line that struck us as hilarious, particularly wise, painfully sad, or hopelessly romantic. The point is we remember it. For some of us it’s a movie we saw many years ago, or it could be a movie we saw just last week. Perhaps, it’s easy to quote the line because we’ve seen the movie so many times we lost track of how many. (I’ve seen You’ve Got Mail probably somewhere around 30 times.)
There are those great lines that have been passed down from generation to generation.

- “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
- “Shut up! You had me at ‘hello'”
- “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
- “I feel the need…the need for speed”
Each of these lines etched our brain cells with its power, its perfect timing, but most of all its eloquent combination of words. The only downside to creating this gift is it will remind us of the movies we can’t wait to watch again. However, we could add an extra special touch to the gift by watching the movie with our intended recipient and then giving the gift soon after. Movie night, anyone?
