I used to think I loved changed, but after eight full years of extensive change coming at me like a malfunctioning pitching machine, I’ve realized I was wrong.
But one thing I have learned is that through each journey of change, I’ve had to unpack experiences, emotions, and relationships in light of my faith. When I open my suitcase, I write — to figure things out, to make sense of it all.
While I’m no expert packer, my heart longs to share my knowledge and encourage others — to help them see that life is difficult yet beautiful, tragic yet triumphant. So with pen in hand, I hope to challenge others to find love, purpose, and acceptance hidden within their own suitcases. With a little poetry, a dose of prose, and sprinkles of great book quotes and song lyrics, I share my journey, hoping you too can learn what to leave behind and what to pack for the road ahead.
